Opening ceremony of the Youth Cricket League T20 version | Sylhet International Cricket Stadium
The opening ceremony of the Youth Cricket League T20 version was held today at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Abu Emam Mohammed Kawsar, Manager, Game Development and Naveed Nawaz, Head Coach Bangladesh U19 Team were present at the occasion. In the opening match, East Zone faces Central Zone. A total 4 teams are participating in this tournament- South Zone (Barishal & Khulna), North Zone (Rangpur & Rajshahi), East Zone (Sylhet & Chattogram) and Central Zone (Dhaka Division & Dhaka Metro).
The T20 version will be followed by the One-Day and Longer Versions. The One-Day version will start on March 3rd at SICS, Sylhet, and the Longer Version (four-day) will be held at Bogura and Rajshahi.
These players have been selected from the U18 National Tournament just finished on the 10th Feb. The most potential players from the YCL will be selected for the Bangladesh U19 Primary Squad.
