Mizanur Rahman and Amir Hamza Hotak fined for Code of Conduct breach

Dhaka Dominators duo Mizanur Rahman and Amir Hamza Hotak have each been fined 25 percent of their respective match fees for a Level 1 breach of the BCB Code of Conduct. The players was penalised for CoC violations during Monday’s Ispahani Bangladesh Premier League T20 match against Rangpur Riders at the SICS, Sylhet.

 

Mizanur and Hotak were both found in breach of Article 2.22 of the BCB Code of Conduct for Players which refers to incorrect team shirt for match.

 

In addition to the fines, one demerit point has been added to the disciplinary record of both.

 

The players admitted their offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Match Referee Salim Shahed and as such, there was no need for a formal hearing.

 

On-field umpires Ali Arman Rajon and Prageeth Rambukwella, third umpire David Millns and fourth official Mozahid Swapan levelled the charges.

 

Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.
